Splendid Spoon is a weekly subscription service that helps you by delivering plant-based smoothies, bowls, and soups straight to your door. If you are looking for a healthy subscription service, Splendid Spoon has you covered. The meals delivered by Splendid Spoon are ready to eat. Their smoothies are ready to consume right out of the bottle. When you are ready for the bowls and soups, you can warm them up in the microwave for a few minutes before you eat them. I loved the convenience of all the smoothies I drank and the meals I ate.

Smoothies, Soups, and Bowls

Splendid Spoon isn't the cheapest subscription service around, but you get more than you think for the amount you spend. Especially if you eat out a lot, you'll enjoy these healthy Splendid Spoon meals more.

Splendid Spoon has three plans:

• Breakfast + Lunch + Reset: $135 a week for 5 of their delicious smoothies, 5 of their filling soups, and 1 full-day Reset that is comprised of 5 light soups
• Breakfast + Lunch: $95 a week for 5 of their delicious smoothies and 5 of their filling soups.
• Lunch: $65 a week for 5 of their filling soups.

I feel like your best bet is going for the Breakfast + Lunch plan like I did when I tried Splendid Spoon. Their Breakfast + Lunch plan includes a good amount of food that will stick with you throughout the day until you are ready to cook dinner. I was surprised by how full I was at the end of my breakfasts and lunches. I never felt bloated or like I overate, and instead, I felt like I had just enough.

Splendid Spoon Packaging

I was very impressed with the packaging my box was shipped in. Splendid Spoon packages come in well-fit boxes and include dry ice instead of gel ice packs. Dry ice is a great way to ship things. It makes your package super cold. You have to be careful when removing your Splendid Spoon products from the packaging. You don't want to end up touching the dry ice with the skin on your fingers, and you don't want to be around the dry ice for a prolonged period. After you get your Splendid Spoon items out of the box, keep the box in a well-ventilated area until the rest of the dry ice evaporates.

Smoothies

Splendid Spoon sent me some of their best-selling smoothies including:

My favorite of all the smoothies I got to try was probably a tie between the AB&J and Green Matcha smoothies. I felt like drinking these smoothies was the perfect start to my day. I honestly wish there was a smoothie only plan for Splendid Spoon because I would be obsessed with it, and it'd probably become a part of my weekly buying habit. Each smoothie in my box from Splendid Spoon was filled with great-for-year ingredients, and the calorie count was rather low. I was impressed with each one I drank. I never felt like I was drinking vegetables, even though every smoothie had veggies hidden inside.

Bowls & Soups

Next, let's talk about the bowls and soups I got. Again, Splendid Spoon curated some of their best-sellers including:

• Coconut Curry Rice Bowl

I loved the bowls more than the soups and stews. Certain meals surprised me. For example, I was pleasantly surprised by the Ikarian Stew as I wasn't expecting to like that. I was pleasantly surprised by how filling all the lunches were. I never felt like I was missing lunch by eating these meals. My favorite was the Coconut Curry Rice Bowl. They were all packed with the right amount of protein, vegetables, and tastiness.
